What is the current GTA 6 release date?
Rockstar’s GTA VI site currently lists November 19, 2026 with PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. We checked the official presentation on October 11, 2026. Use the linked source to verify the current listing before making a time-sensitive plan.
Which platforms are announced?
The official site and Rockstar Support name the two console platforms above. They do not announce a PC date in the checked pages. The PC guide explains how to separate that missing announcement from the confirmed console information.
What does the preload announcement tell us?
Rockstar Support lists November 12 at local midnight for preload. This is an advance-download schedule. It does not establish the exact playable unlock hour on the release date; our release-time guide explains that distinction and the local countdown.
How can I check a claim about a change?
Look for the date and platform in Rockstar’s own current listing, then compare any linked official announcement. A screenshot or repost can preserve an older statement. If the information differs, check the original page and its date before treating it as a new launch plan.
How this page records evidence
The source-check date below records when these pages were reviewed. It is not the date Rockstar first announced the release or the support article’s publication date. Editorial advice, such as allowing time for a download, is separate from the announced facts.
