Jason’s background, present work and relationship with Lucia are three distinct parts of his introduction.
From a criminal upbringing to the Army
Rockstar describes Jason growing up around grifters and criminals, then spending time in the Army. His military past is backstory; the public biography does not identify a military rank, specialization or set of combat bonuses. After leaving the Army, he works for drug runners in the Keys.

Brian’s profile supplies the practical arrangement behind Jason’s home: he stays rent-free in one of Brian’s houses while handling local shakedowns. Cal is Jason’s friend and another associate of Brian. These connections explain a local circle without turning the house into a confirmed purchasable property.
Official sourceSource verifiedLucia changes the direction of his life
Jason’s introduction presents meeting Lucia as a turning point, and her profile describes a future they could build together. Read both accounts before drawing conclusions about either person’s motivation. Jason Duval 01 shows him seated on a green motorcycle while holding a handgun. That is a screenshot observation, not a mission order or a weapon-model identification.
